Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley

Your adventure begins early in the morning with pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of valleys, Berber villages, and ever-changing scenery.

The first major stop is the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its earthen architecture and its appearance in several famous films. After lunch in Ouarzazate, the journey continues through the Rose Valley and on to the Dades Gorges, where impressive rock formations await. Overnight stay in a hotel in Boumalne Dades.

Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga

After breakfast, the tour continues to the dramatic Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs rise more than 300 meters high. A short walk through the canyon allows you to fully appreciate its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

The road then leads toward the desert, passing through Erfoud and Rissani—towns renowned for fossils and rich history. By the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, your camel trek begins just in time for the sunset, taking you across the golden sands to your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, music, and an unforgettable night under the starry Sahara sky.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After returning to Merzouga by camel, you’ll meet your driver and begin the journey back to Marrakech.

Along the way, you’ll pass through the Draa Valley and the Anti-Atlas Mountains, offering a fresh perspective on Morocco’s diverse landscapes. A final stop in Ouarzazate gives you another glimpse of its cinematic charm before you cross the High Atlas once more.
The tour ends in Marrakech with drop-off at your accommodation, marking the close of an extraordinary desert experience.
