Our drive to Fes begins with a stop in Rissani, the foundation of Morocco’s current ruling dynasty. Here, you will explore its historic lively souk (market), a key trading hub for the region. Next, we visit a specialized workshop in Erfoud to see how fossilized marble is expertly crafted.
The journey continues, offering a panoramic stop overlooking the lush Ziz Valley, an oasis carved through the mountains. We then ascend into the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the cedar forest, where you may spot the native Barbary macaques. Finally, we pause in Ifrane, often called “Morocco’s Switzerland” for its alpine architecture.
The tour concludes upon arrival in Fes, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport, carrying memories of an incredible desert journey.
